📖 Overview:
This mobile application enables Jira users to log into their Atlassian account, view issues assigned to them, and add digital signatures directly to Jira issues. It also maintains a signature history log for each issue.
The app provides a simple, user-friendly interface to approve, acknowledge, or track work items through signatures, without requiring deep knowledge of Jira itself.
🚀 How to Use the Application
1️⃣ Authentication
Purpose:
Securely log in to your Atlassian account and connect to your Jira site.
Steps:
Open the application.
You’ll see the login screen.
Tap ‘Login with Atlassian’.
Enter your Atlassian account credentials.
If required, complete any two-factor authentication (2FA) steps.
After successful authentication, select your Jira site (if you have access to multiple).
Once done, you’ll be navigated to the Issue Listing page.
2️⃣ Issue Listing
Purpose:
View issues currently assigned to you, filter them, and manage the Jira site associated with your account.
Features:
Issue List: Displays all issues assigned to your user account.
Project Filter: Filter issues based on a specific project.
Custom Filters: Apply custom Jira filters for a more refined issue view.
Change Jira Site: You can easily switch to a different Jira site associated with your Atlassian account without logging out.
Steps:
After login, you’ll land on the Issue Listing screen.
Use the Project dropdown to select and filter issues by project.
Tap Custom Filters to access your personal or shared Jira filters.
Scroll through the list to view issue summaries and key details.
To change the Jira site:
Tap the ‘Site’ option (located at the page header).
Select a different Jira site associated with your Atlassian account.
The issue list will automatically refresh to show issues from the newly selected site.
Tap any issue to open its detailed view.
3️⃣ Issue Detail
Purpose:
View complete details of a selected issue, add your signature, and review previous signatures.
Features:
Issue Details: Displays fields such as Summary, Description, Assignee, Status, and custom fields.
Add Signature: Digitally sign the issue using touch pad.
Signature History: View a log of all signatures added to the issue, along with signer names and timestamps.
Steps:
From the Issue Listing, select an issue to open its detailed view.
Review all issue details as presented.
To add a signature:
Tap the ‘Add Signature’ button.
Use your finger or stylus to sign on the signature pad.
Optionally, add a comment or note alongside the signature.
Tap ‘Save’ to confirm.
The signature is now attached to the issue, and an entry is created in the Signature History.
To view Signature History:
Tap the ‘Signature History’ tab or option.
A chronological list of all signatures added to the issue will be displayed, including signer names and the date/time.
4️⃣ Account Settings
Purpose:
Manage your profile information, access support resources, view usage guidelines, and contact the BDQ team directly from the app.
Features:
Profile Overview: Displays your profile picture, full name, and email address fetched from your Atlassian account, helping confirm the account currently signed in.
About Us: Quick access to BDQ’s official website to learn more about BDQ’s services, solutions, and expertise.
Support: Direct link to the BDQ Help Center, allowing you to submit issues, raise support tickets, or explore knowledge base articles.
Contact: Instantly open your mail app to send an email to enquiries@bdq.cloud for general questions or business enquiries.
Usage Guidelines: Access Real Signature mobile application guidelines, with the app automatically opening the correct documentation based on your device.
Delete Your Atlassian Account: Provides a secure redirect to Atlassian’s official page for deleting your account, ensuring the process is handled safely through Atlassian’s own system.
Steps:
To View Your Account Settings:
Navigate to Account Settings section by clicking the Profile Icon.
Your profile details—name, email, and avatar—will be displayed at the top.
To Learn More About BDQ:
Tap the About Us card to open the BDQ website in your browser.
To Access Support:
Tap the Support card to open BDQ’s Jira Service Desk portal.
To Contact via Email:
Tap the Email card
📑 Additional Notes:
The Signature History log is permanent and cannot be edited or deleted.
You can change the Jira site anytime from the Issue Listing page without logging out of your Atlassian account.
You can log out from the profile or settings menu at any time.
Your selected project and/or filters are now retained — the app will remember them and continue to show data accordingly, even after you close and reopen the application.
Issues can be refreshed easily by scrolling down on the Issue Listing page.
The application is available for iOS phones as well as iPads.
Account Settings provides quick access to support, guidelines, and account-related links without affecting your Jira login session.
